Soapyshell Carwash - Dundalk

I had my car washed here yesterday, and within about an hour I noticed a small blue-green stain on the exterior paint. The stain would not come off with water or gentle wiping, and I had not noticed it before the wash. After the wash was completed, some blue-green liquid dripped onto my car while I was pulling out of the wash bay. It appears that some of the colored cleaning product was not fully rinsed off. I took photos immediately and contacted the business to ask them to inspect it and help remove it using a paint-safe method. I hope they can handle the issue professionally and resolve it without damaging the clear coat. I will update this review after they respond. The next day I revisited, great experience! They did an excellent job fixing the paint issue on my car and even washed the car again afterward. Everyone here was very friendly, helpful, and professional. I really appreciate how they handled everything and would definitely recommend this place!

Zero star if possible! I’m from harford county and came down to visit a friend thought I’d wash my truck off. I guess the owner (or worker they were in a shirt) thought my literal couple minutes to get my quarters together was wasting time in a spot. One other bay was open. He told me “o got other people trying to wash their cars.” I said I’m getting my 4.50 together. He threw his hands up and walked away. Thank you for letting me know who I was going to tie my couple bucks to. Needless to say I drove my happy self right out that bay.

Would be good if the wash bays were consistent and actually covered all panels of the car throughout the wash. I bought the 20 washes over 30 days plan on the max level wash product, so I could plainly see how the wash would sometimes skip vital steps like the under body spraying, especially after a big day of ice and salt. The coverage on the wax and other sprays is spotty at best, which is best noticed while waiting in line behind another car having the aforementioned services done, and best watched in real-time. Included is a picture of the application coverage of the, probably, polish mix, which doesn't need to be 3 colors, but it allows you to see where the chemicals are left on your car's panels better with some color for sure. Great for being touchless, but not great for accuracy of the advertised product. 2/5

The first time I came here, I didn’t expect much. The auto wash left soap on my car and I ended up going to Rainbow. I tried again, and it was still a let down. The auto wash bug blaster? Yeah, no. I still have bugs all over the front of my vehicle from a rural trip to visit my grandfather. I took pictures of the spot that were EASILY removed with a swipe of the finger. Save your money. Wash your car in the self wash or go somewhere that a person actually services your vehicle. The machines just don’t cut it. I tried to find an attendant to rectify the situation, but there was no one to be found. ***Found a very polite and pleasant young man. Ask for a card for a manager and none was available. I came on 06/05/2025 at 6:45pm. I wanted to vacuum my vehicle, but I didn’t want to waste more money here

Went to the Dundalk location this evening, paid the $16 full service wash, and when I pulled into the right bay and follow the automatic prompts, the automatic system only sprayed the front of my car and the machine turned off and told me to exit. I did pull back around and rang the service bell to speak to someone as well as called the location and nobody was on site. Really not happy with leaving with a front car full of soap and the rest being dirty. I did leave a voicemail so I’m hoping somebody gets back to me and just refund me or I can go back and actually get my car washed.
